Now this is an odd one and I'm at a bit of a loss as to how to address it.

I've been at Joomla 11 pretty much since they released it, I just upgraded to SMF 1.1 RC3 and bridge 1.1.6, but I was having this same issue with RC2 and 1.1.5, and tried the upgrade to see if it would fix the problem.  It did not.  Users were previously able to register, as recently as one month ago.

When I try to do a new registration, I am able to fill out the form (in bridge or in SMF mode) but the registration button does not function at all in Firefox, and in IE it spits out an error:



Any thoughts on what might be causing this?


:edit:  never mind.  After doing a more detailed search, I discovered a thread where someone pointed out the VM all-in-one thread does not play nicely with others.  I killed it (I am moving to osCommerce anyway) and all is well now.
