Thanks... that worked...

Unfortunately it hasn't cured the smf_register bot...
it gives the following error still...

An Error Has Occurred!
Passwords aren't the same.

Again the user is entered into the mambo members list as inactive but no activation email sent.
User still not present in the smf forum.

Oh and also still cant login front end with super admin user and pass

That's actually the most progress We've had yet with the register bot.  I just need to check a few things about the registration confirmation option in Mambo, and I should have a working bot for you soon. 

EDIT -- Find this in SMF_register.php:

'password_check' => $_POST['password2'],

Change it to this:

YAY..... I edited the section you mentioned and then went to the front end to create an account...
All has gone smooooooooth....

No more passwords do not match errors..
I received the activation email and it worked when I activated it..
The user is in mambo and is active
The user exists in SMF and is logged in when I log into mambo front end and logged out when I log out using the mambo logout.

AND>>> I can login the front end using my super admin username and password =D =D =D

It's too bad that most of this will need to wait until Mambo 4.6.2 to be stable, but it's definite progress.

Now I gotta learn how this mambo thingy fucntions... its waaaaaaaay wierder than Integramod... just setting up an author and link for an author in the user menu is a nightmare =[ LOL

Could you make the smf_logout and smf_register mambots available on the downloads page please? Obviously the SMF 1.1 Mambo 4.6 Bridge 1.1 Beta 2 is useless without these...

Mambo 4.6.1 has issues with multiple authentication mambots, so the smf_logout and smf_register bots don't work with it.  I will release the bots with the bridge for Mambo 4.6.2.

The bridge will work fine without these bots, however.  Users won't be instantly registered in SMF when they register in Mambo:  Rather, they will be migrated to SMF on their first login.  The current smf_login mambot controls both login and logout, so a special bot for logging out is not required.
