It is a little too complicated issue.
I bridged smf in joomla database. and it was ok. I had to transfer my old forum from different server and it used to be phpbb. So we transfered and we have a huge encoding problem (www.cafe.com.mk/forum). but that is not the biggest problem. After I patched the domponent in joomla and tried to login on the main joomla page with a user from the old forum, it won't let me in. I get this:

Notice: Undefined index: complex_preg_chars in /home/name/public_html/name/forum/Sources/Subs.php on line 1696

Notice: Undefined index: complex_preg_chars in /home/name/public_html/name/forum/Sources/Subs.php on line 2422

could someone help me please. I have a load of problems transfering my whole site, and it is very hard to search and find the right sollutions.

thank you

(little later)
I tried couple of things and now and login is ok, but the message still stays. and offcorse I can't fix the encoding (used to be latin now utf8) :(
