unable to create cookies - users get looged out

hi guys, ever since i registerd a a domain i have been getting really weird login issues. when you login to my forums, you actually login, but the moment you start to browse a thread, you automatically get logged out?

but if i go to my DynDNS url, it all works a treat

ive enabled both Enable local storage of cookies & Use subdomain independent cookies in the Feature Configuration, but to no avail.

if you set the cookie/privacy settings to low - all works as it should in the .com url?

there seems a few threads in here with peopl who had the same issue but no clear explaination to resolve it is mentioned! ive tried changing cookie names, clearing cache etc etc

PS i use mkportal with smf intergrated
