phpbb 2.0.21 to smf 1.1: path phpbb not found

We are trying to convert a phpbb 2.x database to a smf database.

phpbb forum: forum.***.net
smf forum: smf.***.net

This is the smf path: /home/httpd/vhosts/***/subdomains/smf/httpdocs and we copied the backup of the phpbb database to the exact same path (the rootfolder of the smf forum). But we get the error that the settings of phpbb cannot be found. Also we tried to fill in http://forum.***.net, but that doesn't work either.

Does somebody have any idea what we do wrong?
