How to make forum display 50% etc, instead of 100%

Hi,
New to SMF boards and customizing right now.
Can anyone tell me where or how to change the forum display percent from 100% to another fixed %?

To make the forum display smaller, you can change the margin specified in the CSS file. In Themes/default/style.css, find:

padding: 12px 30px 4px 30px;
}


The 12px 30px 4px 30px is the padding (12 pixels on top, 30 pixels to the right, 4 pixels below, and 30 pixels to the left). If you want to make it 50%, make both the left and right padding 25%:

margin: 0px;
padding: 12px 25% 4px 25%;
}


Change the values depending on what you want

EDIT: It's best to create a copy of the default theme (via the admin panel), and then edit your copy. In case you do something wrong, you still have the default available

Thank you. I did find the Margin option the Css file. I changed that, but it brought the top margin down as well. Your suggestion I'm sure will fix that problem (top margin).
I'm very familiary with Vbulletin forums and altering the coding for them, but i have to admit, SM is much easier to modify!. SM has come along way! Nice to see.
