META Description gives parse error when modified

I know this should be a simple question and a really simple answer, but has anyone else received a parse error when replacing the information within the double quotes of the meta description?  I can change all of the other meta fields just fine, but anytime I change what is inside the double quotes of the meta description (to make a more keyword rich and search engine friendly description) I get a parse error expecting ',' or '; when nothing but what was inside the "'......'" was replaced (and the double quotes were left intact).

Any assistance would be appreciated.  I in turn will also offer any assistance I can provide someone.

By the way, I saw many posts where individuals were trying to put headers on the forums to make them match their sites.  An extremely simple way to do this is to go into Dreamweaver or some other program to create a header.php and footer.php file (both filled with the information copied from your html page).  In template.index.php put include ('header.php'); after <body>  and  include('footer.php'); after </body> .  You can see my test at hxxp:www.neoartifacts.com/discussion1. Again, as I said...I will provide assistance as I can.  Hopefully someone can help me out with the issue regarding why there are errors when changing the internals of the meta description tag.

Hello, and welcome to the forums! :D

If you're putting an apostrophe (') in the description, you need to escape it (\'). This is most likely what's causing the error.

There's a stickyed post on it in the graphics forum: Integrating the forum into your site.... I personally go for the 'layer' system, as it's a lot more powerful :). If you look at my site at www.daniel15.com, the whole site is powered by SMF :D
