The code for the bridge that needs to be appended in the <head> area in Mambo 4.5.x drops my template main body <div> by about 10px. No problem in IE, but I need them to match so my dropdown menu alignment (transmenu) works on both browsers.

conflicting CSS files... merge the two css files and remove/combine duplicate tags

you mean the forum template CSS and the mambo template CMS...transmenu also has its own stylesheet.

ah.....  then it is likely a conflict between smf and transmenu CSS....   but maybe all three...
