mod upgrade help

Hi everyone!

First, i would like to thank you all (the active community here) for your excellent endeavor and dedication to this fabulous piece of software; SMF

i have been been using phpbb for a few months and recently moved to SMF - the results are definitely impressive, with a much better control and settings. However, am trying to limit the increasing number of leechers who abuse on my forum, which uses postcount to unlock certain boards.

i've noticed this very useful mod, but unfortunately it is not updated to work with v1.1.2
So, my request would be - is it possible for any of you code geniuses, to update this package. it's such a useful feature, that it would be really regretful to let it be forgotten as an outdated mod.
I've already PM'ed the developer of that mod, and no answer after one week.
