After Converting phpBB

SMF Version: SMF 1.1.2
I've imported a 100mb phpBB forum into SMF.

Everything is working fine and dandy

When I go to the member groups I have everyone in groups called phpBB Members and phpBB Users.

I want to get rid of the 100 mb of phpBB tables and reduce the size of the database but I'm hesitant in case the phpbb groups removal will cause a problem.

Any ideas?

You can remove the phpBB tables. The "phpBB" groups that you see in SMF were created during the conversion, so you won't lose those if you delete the phpBB tables.
