Hello,

One more thing I noticed in my recent upgrade from beta 5 - RC 1 is that guests can no longer post on the board??  Is this a "feature" or an oversight?  I would much prefer people be able to post if they are not members, to that end I had edited some of the code in case they left their email blank, etc. it would fill in username guest and email [email protected] or something like that - so they didn't get the error that they had to enter an email address - honoring those who prefer to post anonymously.

Thanks,

-Chad.

It's just not a simple checkbox anymore. Go to Edit Permissions => Unregistered Guests Modify. Now you can let them do anything or nothing at all. Oh the power. :)

Thanks, metho - now I just need to remember the parts of the code I changed to put in a default name and email address if guests left it blank....

Or, if that's all you changed, just re-upload a fresh copy. ;)

Not quite, because many things were fixed and improved in Post.php, so it would not be best to go back to the old version...
