Just found this different from other modules! any suggestions?

We've testing our Board now with SMF ver 1.1.2 we definitely like it, SMF interface is kinda kewl specially the Admin panel. But we had seen this different on SMF from phpbb, IPB, vbulletin etc...

Sorry for me bein dumb am new on SMF :p ....

a simple question... When you try to reply to a post using a full reply or a quick reply when hitting the post button instead of bringing you to your post(reply) it brings back to the forum index (where the topic resides)

sorry if this had been posted here already but i had NO idea on what keyword to search if there is any way of configuring it (after hitting the post button it brings me back to my replied post not on the index) please point me to the right link or the right options to change it on the configuration on our admin panel

For everyone, Admin > Themes and Layout > Reset Options > Reset all members' current options for this theme > Return to topics after posting by default.

You mean the green bar accross the top. That is Ajax and it should appaer in several spots on the forum. It is default on all SMF forums.

then select from the drop down menu to change

it still keeps on coming back to topics list index instead of my reply

then i tried to remove then test post then change then test post again nothin happened am i doin something wrong?

any help again is highly appreciated!!! thnx

Did you do it for the right theme (ie the one you're actually using)? And have you tried setting it for yourself as a Profile option (which is a cross-theme setting)?

wheww.. its kinda weird it did it on my profile and it works then i tried doin it on the admin panel for all users to be set as default on my Blackday theme it change back on returning to topic list index instead of returning on my replied post

Sorry, no idea, unless you either:

• Somehow did it twice and 'undid' the change.
• Missed the 'Save' button after selecting 'Change' from the dropdown and checking the box.
