Hello there! We are the vw beetle club of northern Greece.
Since we are old fashioned guys trying to comply with technology we installed a forum one year ago in our website. phpBB version 2.0.19 is installed right now.

for some reason (a missing table) we cannot upgrade phpBB in a higher version. In the meanwhile we installed SMF successfully.

Now we need to convert and transfer if possible all messages and users from phpbb to SMF.
We used the converted available in this forum for version 2.0.19 but doesn't work for some other reason (missing table again)

Does anybody have a good idea of how can we resolve this issue? Is anybody actually available to do this?

We tried with the best of hour knowledge but we cannot resolve this issue.
The beetle club of northern Greece would be greatfull if you can help us because there is no search functionality at all in our forum right now! Registration and posting (amazing how) they work for now but we receive many attacks from porn spammers.
the phpbb is hosted hxxp:www.skaravaios.com/forum [nonactive] and SMF there hxxp:www.skaravaios.com/fora [nonactive]

currently only 69 users and 400 something messages need to be transfered.

the good folks over in http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?board=20.0 (Convertors & importers) probably can help with this better. 

Have you searched that forum looking for a solution?

I apoligize but i have never used PHPbb and as a result i know nothing of what would be necessary.

Well, there must be a "database repair kit" for phpBB. I tried to search, but their site/forum is down right now...

Just one thing, do NOT add information to your SMF forum, as it will be overwritten...

margarett is 100% correct, in conversion an overwrite for lack of better term is performed.  so if theres anything you need to keep around, i would suggest putting it in another database.
