Points for posts, blog entries

Hi again,

i want to reward my users with points everytime they post or submit a blog entry (similar to how gametrailers.com works) iv looked into the SMF shop mod but that seems to only reward for posts. Is there anything available for joomla/bridge to acheive this?

This will most likely fit into a mod function, not a bridge function.  I'll move this to the mod requests board.
