Maybe administration of SMF site should fix error in Download section, becuase much text is overlapping
each other there and it looks very messy. In IE7 it do it, about FireFox i dont know?

Are you talking about the page at http://www.simplemachines.org/download or the page that displays more information and download links for a particular mod? We're aware of the problems with the mod site and are working to fix them, but the download page works fine for me in both IE7 and Firefox.

Do you got a small monitor?
I have this happen when I make my Firefox window small. The devs are also aware of that.

SMF vs. Godzilla? Who do you think will win?

I do not know if it is an SMF thing so much as it is an IE7 thing. Either way, it has been added to the bug tracker.

SMF vs. Godzilla? Who do you think will win?

I had this with one of my forums and IE7 - took a while to fix. IE used to be the bees knees, now I find that im coding to fix browser problems for IE rather than Mozilla / Gekko issues. Its a bummer.

From my own personal views, it used to be that I'd code until it was fine in IE and then I'd check with the other browsers (when other browsers actually started appearing) and mostly I'd just make sure it worked in IE. Now I generally code until it complies with the standards and then I poke at it to ensure it looks good in Opera. From there I check IE and then Firefox. Usually IE is more forgiving actually, at least with what I have done.

Its most likely a floating issue. Its being looked upon, to minimise these errors in the future.
