Mods seeking new developers

This topic is for mod authors to list their mods that they no longer wish to develop and maintain themselves, but would be happy for someone else to take over. If you think you have the skills to do so, you can contact their authors. Developing an existing mod might be easier for you than starting a new mod, so please do consider it. And this will be better for the community too, as we won't have the situation we currently have of good mods with inactive developers.

So to start it off...
Grudge is looking for people to develop all of his:
http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=58093.0
And I'm looking for someone to develop my Group Moderators mod:
http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=43396.msg1020525#msg1020525

In addition:

When making such a request to have people take over your modifications for you please create a topic and link to it if you feel that discussion is required.

After the transfer has been made please edit or delete your post to ensure that this thread doesn't  become bloated and lose its purpose.

For any discussion not directly pertaining to the exchange of ownership of modifications but rather discussion on this topic please see this thread:

Anyone want to continue development of the Enhanced Calendar mod for me? I've lost interest in it...

eldacar, I may be interested in taking over your Group Moderators mod. But as for maintaining it for 2.0, at its current feature-set, is it really needed in 2.0? Seeing as 2.0 has a feature to make a member a group moderator and allow the moderator to add and remove members from the group. :) It seems to be essentially the same thing this mod does, but correct me if I am wrong.

Group moderators are not needed for 2.0.
Just keep up with the 1.1 updates which shouldn't be that hard.

Exactly! However, I'd for it to be compatible with the 2.0 database structure, so that those using the mod will be able to upgrade and keep their settings. I've already renamed the main database table, there's just one more column to convert.

I am no longer able to keep my mods up to date since I'd rather spend the time I have on developing SMF.  As such the following mods are up for the taking.  I give my permission to update and/or modify and restribute under your name the following mods:
http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=242 -- Create Topic on Report to Moderator
http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=246 -- FAQ Tag
http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=137 -- Ignore Boards (Note this is already in SMF 2.0 abit slightly differently)
http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=117 -- No Changing Moderator's Edit
http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=237 -- Password Protect Boards
http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=232 -- Personal Message Auto Responder
http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=115 -- Show Multiple Badges (AKA Stars)

All I request is that you let the Customization Team know if / when you post a new version of the mod so that they can remove my version.  thanks.

Could someone please take over the Flags mod so that we that really want it and wish to change things in it can get it working? Likewise with the global headers mod...

I dont really care.  Once I am done with SMF Garage I am going to need that mod for my site, so that is why I was willing to keep it updated, but if you would like to keep it updated.....be my guest.

I'm willing to take over the above mods. I no one objects I'll update them to 1.1.4 during the next week or so.

I haven't really been active here lately, so if anyone want to take over my mods, I'm ok with that.

I have my profile mod, that if someone is willing to take over they are more than welcome to.

Mod is here:
http://www.johncarpenterforum.com/snake/index.php?action=tpmod;dl=item18

Looks somewhat like:
http://www.johncarpenterforum.com/snake/index.php?action=profile;u=1

Please let me know.

Alex Stanford

I'm looking for developers to help with SMF Rewrite / SMF Remix.

Note, this is not an offer to take over a mod, but assist me with it's creation.  I hope this is okay to post here.
