Erreur images hébergées chez imageshacks

Bonsoir,

Voila on vient de me remonter un probleme que j'ai pu reproduire, à savoir une erreur de base de données lorsque l'on poste un message contenant de nombreuses balises images dont la source est hébergée chez Imageshacks.

L'erreur remontée est la suivante :

MySQL server has gone away
Fichier: /home/www/b9d4922f5f52d28ab245934f5f2c5010/web/forum/Sources/Subs.php
Ligne: 2957

Exemple de balises :
[ img ]http://img80.imageshack.us/img80/7748/dscf0036lj3.jpg[ /img ] (sans les espaces bien sur)

Il doit y en avoir environ 20 dans le post.

Ik zou graag willen dat mijn forum op elke computer dezelfde breedte heeft.. Ik weet alleen niet waar ik dit kan instellen.. Dus de breedte niet in procenten.. Ik kan het voorlopig alleen in de style.css met paddings instellen, maar als je daarmee werkt is het op een ander Pc breden dan op mijn pc.. Dit heeft te maken met de beeldschermresolutie denk ik.. How can http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?action=who this be turned off, so Admin and Mods only can see it?  If you turn off this facility in the admin section, it turns it off for Mods as well.  I cannot find a way of stopping members only from not viewing this.

A while back a friend said that it can be done by some short code.  Anyone any ideas?

Pues tengo un pequeño problema con el tema de los avatares. No consigo que los usuarios puedan subir su imágen. Al principio creía que sólo se trataba de permitir el "Subir Archivos Adjuntos". Lo activé, pero tampoco. Después también hay una parte donde das permisos a los grupos por url externa, subir avatares, etc. Y lo tengo todo activado.

No se que puede pasar.

Además, movimos el foro de un server a otro y todos los avatares que subí,ahora no se ven, y están!

Pero lo más importante es hacer que los usuarios se puedan subir su propia imágen.

¿Alguna idea?

No puede escribirse en el directorio para subir archivos adjuntos. Tu archivo adjunto o avatar no se pudo guardar.



No se que puede pasar.

Además, movimos el foro de un server a otro y todos los avatares que subí,ahora no se ven, y están!

Pero lo más importante es hacer que los usuarios se puedan subir su propia imágen.

¿Alguna idea?

I am trying to post some form data from one template and subaction to another.  problem is when i submit the data and try to run an INSERT INTO, i get an error from SMF that says 'hacking attempt'.  i had this problem before on another mod i was writing, but that was due to a ';' being in a query.  the query i am running now does not have any spec chars.....any ideas?  an example query is below...

I did a bit of searching, but even from this topic subject, I don't even know how to word it

Basically, what I would like to do, is if my forum has a board "A", then I would like when someone clicks on the board "A", it will take them to a new page that is still database driven, still has the same forum theme, but has content that I would like to manually create via HTML.

Right now, I can only think of two methods..

Method 1:
The link I would like to use is currently /index.php?board=1.0
So what I could do is just have javascript check for that link, and then replace it with a different like, like  /board1.php
Then, the file board1.php needs to be a page that has the same header, but below the header I would like to add my own content. Of course I will need the footer content below my content so that it still appears to be part of the forum.

Method 2:
I can have people click on the link /index.php?board=1.0.
Then when the forum tries to load that board, I can have javascript check for this, and then have it load the default forum header info, but bypass the body content, replace it with my own, and then have it load the footer info also.


I have seen forums do this before, so I was just wondering if there was a more simple way or even a package that can do this? I didn't know how to search for this idea..

Hi, wondered if anyone could help me.  I keep getting spam in the boards.  I ban the IP and they use another.  It seems automated as I have a forum whereby guests have to become users before they can see and post in the forums.

I have recently upgraded to 2.1.1 and have various mods.

Im not sure how to erradicate this spam.

My site runs pretty fast, but my forum doesn't.

So I said, instead of moving the whole thing, why not just move the forums to a new host: is this possible or a good idea?

Will I be able to link the forum back to my website, in a way that my users don't know they are going to a different host?

I am assuming all it takes is a simple forwarding of the forum's IP to my forum's original address (www.mysite.com/smf)?

I know I must be missing something. I have looked all over, or so it seems, and I can't figure out how to get rid of the stars and the "newbie" (or whatever) labels. Like always, it'll probably the last place I look. I really don't want these things. How do I do away with them?

I gave up trying to fight the evil attacking my forum sometime last year.  I posted a few things months and months before without any success for solutions, so I'm trying again.  Please help.

I checked the Manage Members panel from the Admin page, and there are 77 pages of users from domains like the following:

*@mail.ru
*@cashette.com
*@gawab.com
*@hotboxes.com
*@sereweb.com

and 100's more domain extensions, various user names @whatever.com .  . . it would be nice if these were all of a similar extension, but there are many many variations. 

So what do I do?  I manually added just about all of them months and months ago to the Ban List, and they don't seem to be doing anything at all to stop any of them.

I tried converting back to PHPBB, which I had no problems with (I converted to SMF just to try something new sometime last year) I have had nothing but errors on conversion back to PHPBB,  and have searched hours combing forums and posts to find solutions, and posting my problems without success.

I ask only for clear solutions to this issue, so I can have a working forum again as soon as possible. 

I just upgraded from 1.1 to the most current version as of today, 1.1.2.  That went smoothly, no errors.

I upgraded from a pre 1.1 release to 1.1.2. Everything invilving email has vanished! There's no option to make users activate accouints via email (and it's not doing it automatically either. I registered a test account. it just let me in). There's no "email users" page. The only setting I could find involving email at all was the email address field in server settings. The options for using mail servers instead of php sendmail are gone too btw. What's going on?
