The install put the notepad in the members summary page, with a small square button without text.
It works, but I don't think this is how it supposed to !?

You may need to edit the files in your custom theme to install into it...mods are only required to install into the SMF Default theme...

I must be a dummy, because I really can't figure out what goes where.
I open the "personalpad.xml" and it has 4 occurances of "file name = "
Which probably means I have to go through all four of those to add something? But I don't understand what that "something" is.
Appreciate some more help!

The modparser will give you the help you requested...it outputs the instructions in the .xml file in a more human readable form.

Hello,

I have added this mod to several custom themes, and it works fine for me as an admin. But nobody else can see any other comment field other than their own. I have changed their permissions to let them do so, is there any place I have to turn this on, in the admin section or something?

If you switch to the SMF default theme does it then work? I'm trying to see if it's your editing of the custom themes that is at fault.

No. nevertheless I removed that mod and added the profile comments mod, which I am having some small issues with, and posting about there.

I had the same problem too, but if you open profile.template.php, look for:

<input type="submit" value="', $txt['mempad_save'], '" name="cmdnotes" />

Replace with:

<input type="submit" value="Submit"', $txt['mempad_save'], '" name="cmdnotes" />

And it should work

It's ok, i've fixked it, it was the admin notepad, i forgot to change the mod english thingy-me-bob for my theme lol!
