Showing remains days of banned users

I think it will be very helpful both of members and administrators to have a option.

We can show banned users profile with strikethrought and show how many more days need pass for finishing the ban period.

can I ask how one is to say "Ban" a user.

Is this by banning an IP address, or is there a feature that actually sets a user as banned ??

If you have the permission, you can see a "Ban this user" link in the user profile. If you click on that, you'll get to the ban form, pre-filled out with the user's info. Simply set the type of ban, check what items you want the ban to trigger on, and ban.

There is an index is_banned for use with the display page.  It doesn't say how long on that page.  The time remaining is shown to users themselves and not to other people.
