Mod like VBookie / Casino mod?

Okay I have two requests for mods:

1. A mod that resembles VBookie.

I need something which can let my members bet on sporting events and the such just like the above mod. Can it be done? It would be awesome to be able to bet on sporting events and events on TV shows etc.

2. Casino mod

What I basically need for this could resemble a flash game, but I don't want something like that. I want something which can allow members to enter a room where a staff member (or member appointed by staff) is the dealer, and then the members can play Poker. Could this be done or would it be too hard? It could probably be text based.

Yes, this is really needed, also just for anyone up for the task, (my own thought) it may be easier to do with SMF Shop in some way.

VB actually has a casino mod that works a lot like our shop mod. People earn credits by posting, and instead of buying things from the shop, they use it to play casino type games, poker, blackjack, slots, lottery, etc. It's all automated, no one has to be present to "deal" the cards. Love to see that even more than a bookie mod.

i am curently a phpBB user, and because all those security problems, i am thinking of transfering my community to the smf board (after 6 full years of phpBB usage).

The first thing i must i admit, is that i am not satisfied with the number of the mods created for the smf. I know that this board system is free, and i know that all of you developers have your own jobs and lifes, and you are doing this just as a self-satisfaction. I also know that your project (smf) is younger than the phpBB at least a few years. But all these mention things can not be used as an excuse to the fact that you are far more less popular system than the phpBB. And in order to make your reputation better, there must be some things done as it were on phpBB: one of those are mods.

Now, let`s be specific: at the August of 2005, a man posted a request about a bookie mod, and since now ( three and half years) NOBODY was willing to take this chalenge? Take a look at all those requests for the bookie mod (in Search type in: bookie) there`s at least ELEVEN of them. At least.

Take this as a friendly advice, not as a deride. The key to succes are mods, the rest is done splendidly at smf system.
