Merging

Hello im Muncey and i am going to be opening a forum very very soon. It will become a general forum with areas like music, gaming, computers, sports, politics... EVERYTHING!

I am curious would any other admins like to merge their boards with us?

That way we grow much bigger and much faster!

wot is merging the user database or the whole thing like posts and all.

Merging entire forums is exceptionally difficult and I go pale at the thought of attempting it >_>

I've done it before.  Campus Dakota is the result of merging too forums together.

As for your idea: as much as I hate to tell you, scrap it.  Find something unique, or don't bother with a forum.  There are too many general forums, and why would they want to give up their members to you?
