Please, I´ve got a question that´s probably too simple; I searched a little but can´t find a fitting result to my question, not even in the wiki strangely, though it´s probably more than basic.

I´d like to install this mod (great thing, why is it not implemented in SMS core?) and klicked on parse to view the instructions.
Now my question is,
do I have to simply download the necessary files from my forum-ftp and edit them the way the parser tells me and re-upload them
or do I have to edit the files from the downloaded mod (extract first) and try to install via Admin-Panel after
or do I have to install the mod via Admin-Panel though it gives errors and download and edit the files after that,
or what do I do with those instructions?

Any help (or link) appreciated... thank you! (as I am not native English speaker it´s not always easy to understand everything but I try my best)

It is highly unlikely that the mod will be updated to 2.0,2

Unfortunately I haven´t had the time yet to find the answers to it.
