Hi, i have SMF and Joomla installed and the bridge installed and working fine, atleast i think. I see that a user can register on both joomla, and on SMF, but if someone registeres on SMF, they wont be shown as a user on joomla, but if someone registers on joomla, they will be shown in SMF. Is there any way i can edit the register link on SMF to lead to the register link on joomla? (SMF bridge registration)

i am using smf 1-1-2 and smf_1-1_joomla_1-0-x_bridge_1-1-7 bridge.

If they access the standalone forum, then they will not be ported to Joomla.

You have to have the users access SMF through the com_smf component only.

so, is there anyway i can get rid of the registration button on the forum?

If you access the forum through the bridge, the register button link should be changed to point to your bridge registration setting.
