I have upgraded one of my forums as a test but i'm still having trouple reinstalling Grudges mods.
I have emptied my cash, tried different browsers, etc.
But no matter what i do i get:
There are no installation or uninstallation actions defined! when i try to download a mod from grudges server using the package manager.  :(

I have the exact same problem

Have you tried manually downloading and uploading it?

-[Unknown]

Ok that works!
I should have tried it immediatly, i know.
But at 3 o'clock in the morning posting seemed easier.  :P
Thanks anyway.
There is a difference between knowing the path and walking the path.

The attachments/avatars thing is a known issue.  It would help greatly if I could see a dump of your attachments table and a list of the filenames in your attachments directory. (I can't reproduce, I need test data..)

If people reattach and/or reupload them, they will fix themselves.

I asked my members to reupload the files. It works fine now!

If you're willing, take a look in your package managers ;).

What's different about the package manager? I just looked and it's not different from yesterday.

You don't see a Latest packages box with the following text in there?
QuoteAlthough this feature is not yet ready, if you're using 1.0 RC2 there is a small patch available (click here to install.)

If you have any problems applying it, please post on the forum for help.

Pretty slick, [Unknown]. I like it. :)

I see it now.

What was fixed?

[Unknown]

Just a few minor issues found since release, such as shadow tag disabling.

Largely a test of the package manager ;).

I hope you deliver 1.0 final through this. Imagine updating your forum through package manager. This could be big.

Oh... very nice..... Superb feature!!! :)

However, I was using an RC1 version of recent.php to give me the 'next page' ability on the recent posts page, so I got a failure for that file..

Question - if the package manager makes changes... does it make changes to the selected default forum template, or just the default template supplied with a new install?

For example, I'm using a modified classic template as my default template, and I do know whether the changes are being made to that.

Thanks,

-mark

[Unknown]

No template changes were made by that small update.

I hope to minimize the need for template changes for 1.0.

The question remains though, for any package updates... do they only modify the supplied default template, the used default template, or all templates on the server... my vote is for all templates on the server.. otherwise things will become as complicated as doing it by hand.
