I think it should be darker, I can barely tell whether or not boards have new posts in them because they look too much alike.

yeah wouldn't hurt... or maybe you need to adjust your monitor contrast Chris ;) !

Chris Cromer

Maybe I could do that if I had a monitor. :P

But I have a LCD on my LAPTOP. ;)

Believe it or not, I agree; however, there was an issue when I made that graphic darker.  It didn't fit anymore, it looked out of place.  The saturation became overwhelming.  So when I brought the saturation down, then it looked more subtle again.  So I brought the rightness down again... Kept going in this circle until the graphic was too different.

This is not to say it can't be done.  I just need a break (having to whip up all these graphics from scratch was quite a bit harder than I thought it would be), so I'll tackle that bad boy again in a weeks time.

I think that it looks okay except that I would decrease the delay on frame 5.  That's the frame that looks most like the "no new messages" button.

Great overall look in SMF.  I like it!

I suppose this can't be done, as Silverdragon explained.
