i am trying to convert but i am gettig this error right away:

Sorry, the database connection information used in the specified installation of SMF cannot access the installation of phpBB2. This may either mean that the installation doesn't exist, or that the MySQL account used does not have permissions to access it.

The error MySQL gave was: SELECT command denied to user 'espresso_zpsmf'@'localhost' for table 'phpbb_users'

is there a how to convert topic for example where do i put the phpbb2_to_smf

For the converter to work properly, the smf must have access to the database of the forum that you are converting from. Try to install smf on the same database as your phpbb forum that you want to convert. Or at least you must give the smf db user account access to the database of the phpbb forum that you want to convert. Hope this helps
