Hi Friends,
can someone please tell me which file i need to edit to make changes to the META description and keywords..presently they show:

<meta name="description" content="Forums - Index" />
<meta name="keywords" content="PHP, MySQL, bulletin, board, free, open, source, smf, simple, machines, forum" />

I am using joomla, and i can change joomla meta data using the "global settings" under joomla admin page....but it doesn't changes the smf metadata details....

Please help..i would really appreciate it.
Thanks

Open the Admin panel, configuration, Current Theme settings, modify themes, select the theme your using, open index.themes.php and scroll down to the page slowly until you see your meta data. Goodluck

Thanks a lot relicportal, that worked like a charm...

Can i ask one more simple question, how to remove the "News - SMF just Insalled" text from the first page in the forums.

Thanks

u have to change that in index.template.php.
if you are using default theme it doesnot allow you to change using current theme option to keep it safe.
