How to disable IP logging or how to remove the indicator of the IP.

Hello people,
anyone could be so gentle to explain or create a mod to choose to disable IP logging (better) or remove the indicator of the IP in every post(less better but okay however)?

Unlucky I don't undestarnd nothing of php so be more clear with the explanations

I just want to ask why would you do this? You might end up putting your site in danger if a spam attack were to come upon you.

Yes, a solution of "middle" could be in fact cancel simply the ip indicator on the bottom right of every post. the ip in this way continue to be logged but not showed to every user.

I'd like to adopt this solution, when ready this mod, because i manage a forum about growing gourmet mushrooms. A factor that blocks other people to register and post on the board is the fact that some of them grow also active mushrooms, that aren't legal.

That would not work with the current version of SMF. Already tested and tried. The coding has been changed.

A member can see only their own IP address unless you have given them certain admin permissions.  For everyone else they see 'Logged' -- exactly like here
