[Mod Request] Multiple Buddy Lists for PMs & Posts

Being able to choose different buddy lists (user compiled) to PM or make posts viewable to only those certain people would be a GREAT mod or even a GREAT standard SMF feature.

1. compile, name, & store multiple buddy lists (you could make them shareable with other users)

2. add drop-down lists to the PM form for chosing a buddy list to distribute a PM.

3. add drop-down lists to the posting form for chosing a buddy list to restrict viewing of that post to those buddies. If you aren't on that buddy list you would see a default text like "Sorry, you aren't allowed to view this post because you aren't on [user]'s buddy list." or even better, the message could be configurable by the users.

The admin would be able to set the number of members allowed on a buddy list by memebr groups, post count, or some other way.

I may be mistaken, but buddy lists are effectively useless unless your using the ultimate profile mod.

I fail to see the purpose of this mod.

I don't have any Ultimate Profile Mod & buddy lists work fine.

Call it a "distribution list" if that makes you feel better.
