SMF Version: SMF 1.1.3
Is there anyway I can activate a limit of images posted per post (for example, a limit of 6 images per post)?

For the img tag, not as standard. For attachments, Admin > Attachments and Avatars > Max number of attachments per post.

Not that I'm currently aware of (I just said 'not as standard' because you asked if there was any way and it's not impossible).
