Make a backup of the file before you modify it.

I edited xml_topic.js and changed the functions as you said.

But nothing changed on my forum  :(

Your local computer may have cached the js files.  It worked for me fine after you changed it.

I noticed that inline editing of post also does not work.

Anyone fixed the code for that?
