Section acess permission by member

Section acess permission can only be modified by groups of members,
I want to make a section in witch I can accept member by member.

I thought I saw something where you could specify which members can enter a board..
I may e wrong though..

PS: I like this 'idea'.. thought about it myself too.
Really handy when you want to dissable the acces of 2 members in a group of 40..

Or do I just need to create a new MemberGroup and set the permissions there.. ?

Well you could always create special groups with these members added. Although I guess you don't want to do this because it becomes hard to maintain when you have a lot of groups with just a few members in each group?

It wouldn't be too hard to write some hardcoded code which you would need to edit a file each time you needed to add a member that couldn't access a certain board. If you would be willing to accept a rough solution like this, I may be able to look into this, however I don't have the time at the moment to add a full fledged mod that has a user interface for adding members that can't access certain boards.

I'd say just use a membergroup. Although at the least I can look into posting some code for you if you are interested that will automatically add a certain group to banned users (done by file, not stored in the actual database), so you wouldn't have to always remember to assign banned members to the same group each time you ban them. However this would only seem to have a real use for people who are post banned, since a full ban would disallow access to your entire forum.

Anyone took a look at this idea and got something working?
Anyway.. I didn't want to create a new topic, because this is more or less the same.
But could someone made a "BoardBan" modification, or just explain how I could create one..
The "BoardBan" is the opposite of the requested mod here I guess..

BoardBan: Members are able to access but admin/mod is able to ban them from the board..
