Eggdrop search facility?

I don't know if this is in the right section or not, but what I'm after is a tcl script for an eggdrop that allows a user to type;

!search linux issues

and then the bot to search the forum and return the top x amount of results in a private message in irc. I don't know about tcl programming so any help would be great! Or perhaps you know of a script that can do this function. I have searched the forum, but nothing seems to cover the search activity.
