I asked me when SMF 2.0 come.
Can anybody say something about this?

This beta release marks a significant milestone for us, and is the culmination of over eighteen months of discussion, coding and testing since work began in January 2006. We expect it will be quite a few months more before we're ready to release the first public beta but in the mean time feel free to check out Introducing SMF 2.0 for a taste of things to come. Simply thereis no release date for smf 2 but it is available to charter members in the beta stages, smf2 may get released to public in beta, maybe in RC or it may stay hidden till the stable it hasnt been decided, the developers want it virtually bug free.

Usually there is at least one public beta and all the RC's are public. (At least thats what happened with 1.1, with 1.0 there were at least 2 public beta's that I know of)
