Introduction
Enables webmasters to make money from Ebay links through AuctionAds.
Sign-Up For AuctionAds

Installation
Simply install the package to install this modification on the Default theme.

Manual edits will be required for non-default themes to install the bbcode button on the post.template.php and (unlikely) on the admin.template.php
And a copy of the ebay.gif added to each themes bbc folder (Themes/{themename}/images/bbc/)

Features
o admin settings [via Admin > Posts & Topics]
- enable mod
- enter id [comprises of 20 characters of 0-9 a-f]
- enter campaign (optional) [comprises of 32 characters of 0-9 a-f]
o BBCode Button
o Convert any existing ebay links

I'm using SMF 1.1.4 and just installed this.

In the Manage Post Settings in Admin, the new fields & tick box are there but with no labels
I'm using the default theme and the only two other mods installed so far are Buy me a Beer and ARS (both by you - do I get a fan club badge?

How do I get the labels to show in the manage posts page so I know which is the AuctionAds ID and which is the campaign name?

Are you using utf-8?

if so you will need to copy the language strings added by the install.xml file to your utf-8 modifications.english-utf8.php

what is the point in utf-8?

Utf8 is a different character set that users with multiple languages may use.

SMF supports both ASCII and utf8 character sets.

Its the way the information is stored.

Utf-8 provides better support for multiple languages (with the additional non-alpha numeric characters).

Its been merged into ShoppingAds, so I'm removing this mod
