More colors for text ...

SMF currently does not allow the user to post text in a lot of colors ... More colors will allow text highlighting in a much better way ... I think 64 colors should be quite good ...

Nice ... but I guess this should be in the core version itself ... I have a lot of mods installed (and they somehow work !!) and don't know code ... Just looking at the thread, I know, I'll have to mess with code on my theme. I don't want to mess things up right now ...

I have alot of mods installed on my forum.  80+.

Unfortunately there will always be some alterations in the code required. Although smf are seeking to reduce the amount in smf 2.0 by having the mod automatically try to install on default themes.

As per that topic, its impractical and would have a big impact on performance if every mod under the sun was preinstalled.
Mods are there to add extra functionality that only some users will want and others not.

SMF does recommend in its warnings to backup before making any mod/theme alterations automatically via the package manager or manual editing.

This mod isnt too difficult to install.

SMF currently lets users post in 16777216 colours. I think that's quite enough thankyou.
