Try to install another theme and see if it works. Make sure you extracted all the SMF files including the default themes and default themes language files. Regards,

The language files wouldn't affect the posts themselves, shadow.

But yes, check and see that your theme is compatible with SMF 1.1.3.

Do they show in the default theme?
Anything in the error Log?

How did you install the theme? Were the files in FTP when you installed it?

I downloaded the theme to my desktop then uploaded it the to the server via ftp. The copied the default files to the new theme. is there something I for got to do?
hxxp:www.footballandcoaching.com/Forum [nonactive] / Video Games

No - that was fine how you installed it I would just make sure the all the files from the saved file on your computer got installed to /themes/blackrain. Than make sure it's chmoded correctly. If that does not work I suggest contacting the theme author. (crip)

what is chmoded mean? If you don't mind me asking what file in the themes deal with the posting aspect of the forum?

So read up on the chmode settings and I still can't see the posts, I tried contacting "crip" the creator of the theme, but no response. Does anyone have any suggestions? Is there a certain code to file that needs to be for the posts to show up? Can anyone help?

what SMF version?

If it works in the default theme but not in the blackrain theme then there is a problem with that theme, not SMF, and you'll need to ask the mod creator in his topic for this theme: http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=189576

He was online last yesterday

make sure the theme is compatible with your smf version.
