gallery2 image block needed on SMF homepage

Hello everyone.

I have several sites running SMF 1.1.3 with Tiny Portal 0.9.8 along with Gallery2 integrated. When you go to the embedded gallery2 portion of these sites, sure there is a random image there, but I would like to place a random image block directly on the SMF homepage that is linked to the image in the gallery.

I have seen this on several similar sites, but cannot find out how to do this. Can anyone assist?

Find the bit of script that displays the random image, and copy it into your main page script maybe?

I'm not well rounded with TP, so please excuse me if I'm wrong.

You would want to ask the gallery2 support.  This isn't an smf function, so its difficult for us to support it, if not impossible, given that many of us do not use the software
