Embed Flash only in first/topic starting post

I've been trying to figure this out, but have given up for now. Is it possible to make it so flash only embeds on the first post in a thread, and not for any of it's replies?

I've not seen a mod or code to do this (YET!)

This post is in the right place,  (mod request forum). Hopefully someone will take an interest and create it.
