Hey guys i would like to know if it is possible to add more buttons on teh menu

Home Help Search Admin Profile My messages etc etc

is it possible to add more buttons

and i would like to know ive seen on some Owner forums they have a news bar that changes every 2 seconds to a new message where would i be able to find a mod for that

How to find the file index.template.php?

One way would be by going to Admin / Current Theme / Modify the index template. (the main template). However this option is not shown for the SMF default theme.

Do you know how to use FTP? How do I use FTP? / What is FTP? With FTP you can navigate to your Themes directory, then open the directory inside of that for your theme and download index.template.php to your computer, modify the file with the changes you want to make and reupload it over the existing one. How do I modify files?
