Uhhh... That would be controlled by your domain I believe. That would be called a sub domain buy SMF can support the cookie settings for that.

Not sure if you're asking if smf handles subdomains or if we create forums for you.

you can set subdomains usually with your hosting's control panel.  SMF doesn't have any control of your DNS setup, so the subdomain creation would have to be handled on the server side.

we ourselves don't do any hosting, so we can't do forumname.*

there are services that do, though, such as http://www.smfforfree.com.  Keep in mind that we do not run smfforfree, it is in itself a third party organization
