How to sync Joomla <-> SMF users since there's no bridge for Joomla 1.5

Hi,

Since there would be no bridge for Joomla 1.5 I would like to know if there's a way to sync both user databases, so if a user creates an account in joomla, it always signs up in SMF.
I refuse to use fireboard or any other forum system since I love so much SMF.

Is anybody using a sync system?. Could you paste the code?.

I'm using Joomla 1.5 and SMF 1.1.3 but I plan to update to SMF 2 as soon as it goes out.

no. Since what you are describing is one of the basic functions of the bridge.... and one of the functions which violated the GPL, according to Joomla... There is no way to do this with Joomla 1.5 and I expect that SMF 2.0 may break the previous distributed bridges as well.
