Welcome PM
« on: January 21, 2008, 08:13:07 AM »
Greetings, I am curious if anyone knows if there is a mod for 1.1.4 to send a welcome PM to new members.  I cannot seem to find it in the normal configuration or mods.

All the best,
S.

Thank you, but is it compatible with 1.1.4?

Yes you can change the content of the PM as well as who it's sent by.

Just go to Admin - Registration - Settings, and then you can edit some stuff there. As it's a regular PM you can use BBS code.

Good luck. ;)

Wonderful  to know.  I assume this  form is generated  automatically  by  calling  it  by  name?  Do  ypou  know  the name of the  form  already  in the   program  so I can edit it?  Or  must that  form be created  once the  mod is installed?  Nevermind,  I will simply  install and find out!!  lol  Thanks.

Hello,

I tried to install this, and the window to edit the PM wasn't showing in Registration->Settings.

And also, during install, the test for register.template failed.

If the test failed, then that means you'll have to manually edit the register.template file. :P

You can upload the mod to this parser and then use it to make the changes manually. ;)

Good luck! :)
