Must hand out e-mail adress.. why?

Why guest-users must give their e-mail address when they post a new thread, or post in to an old thread? Is there anykind of butoon in some menu where i can get rid of this... thing.

Guests do just because it's good etiqutte, and makes it easy to track people (And possibly over things). If you want to remove it the simplest way is to open Post.template.php and change the text field that says "email" to be hidden instead of text, and set it's value to a made up address. i.e
<input type="text" name="email"  ... />

changes to:
<input type="hidden" name="email" value="[email protected]" />
