SMF and OSS5 ( omni security )

My GF and I have had a site up for some time now and we just added SMF and Flash Chat to it. We were using Aladdin for our UA ( which uses an internal Db ). We have just upgraded to Omni which uses Sql. We would live to have one login for both. I'm sure this has been discussed here more then a few time but the problem is I'm a photographer not a computer guru like most of yous. I'm hoping some one might point me in the right direction as far a intergrading the two Dbs. Sql is now new and so is Forums... so all the tricks to them are over my head.. If anyone would like to help, Brook and I would be soooooooo grateful. The entrance page is been changed to "under construction" but you can bypass it...
