Hi Nao!

Shouldn't the Subs-Aeva-Custom.php settings override global settings?

I mean, for MP3 files, even if I add:

...the link to the MP3 file is still displayed.

Any idea why this happens?

Nope, don't know...
But you need to regenerate the site list after you make a change to the custom file.
Admin > Aeva > click on "Save".

You're right Nao, I forgot to regenerate the list, my bad.

It works now, however it's too bad that i cannot overide the player settings, like I wanted to use a hosted one instead of a remote player.

Aeva Media will use a local player. (Well, it's not yet implemented, but I'm counting on you to yell at me when Aeva Media is out and it doesn't have that feature )

Can I enable this mod for 1 board and disable on the rest ?

You can disable it sitewide, and enable it manually in your code ($mgalSettings['aeva_enable'] variable). Just edit your index template, for instance (settings area), to enable it only if (isset($context['current_board']) && $context['current_board'] == your_board_number) -- should work just fine.

Well, given that he has a problem with one of my mods, I'm guessing it's actually his forum being broken than AEVA. Though he didn't have to be quite so vicious.

I wasn't sure whether to edit the post prior to approval.

No. He's frustrated that the two mods he's tried to use don't work properly. But given that both mods are giving him white screen of death, it's either something with his forum or his hosting.

Nao: I need to make a correction to my bug report of the BBC video problem. BBC videos do not show in SSI in Internet Explorer 8 only, the issue does not exist with any other browser, including IE6/7.

The "<object>" code is added by this test:

   if ($context['browser']['is_ie'] && !$context['browser']['is_mac_ie'])

So it means your IE8 isn't recognized by SMF as IE... (Or it thinks it's IE Mac.)

Untested, but this should initialize the is_ie variable for IE8 on SMF1 -- and make your videos work again.

@Arantor> Nope, Chrome has its own detection routine in SMG, and isn't used in Aeva at all. Although I just noticed SMG relies on is_ie as well... Ah, I guess I'll have to add a detection line for it there as well.
