I need help !

I need help! I'm a BIG NEWBIE to all of this! However, I can follow directions fairly well! (if I had some!) I have tried 6 times to install the SMF Arcade 2.0.11  ...I am using  SMF 1.1.4
This is what I get...

I've been there...I can't make heads or tails out of that site...like I said...I a BIG NEWBIE at this..I'm so confused...Is there somewhere else I might try to get some real help?

Just seems like a mod is interferring with index.template.php you can uninstall a few index.template mod and check if it works.

You can download a fresh install of SMF and replace /themes/default/index.template.php and reinstall your past mods that were effected by that file.

I have users and settings already in place...will installing a fresh one mess any thing up? I'm not clear on "exactly" how to replace the template file? I'm really quite confused...would it be too much trouble to get a step by step on how this is done...I could handle that...I've been trying to figure this out for three days and my brain is fried!

if you download the Large upgrade package from the downloads page, you can use this to restore your files without needing to reinstall.

- download the package
- delete upgrade.php, upgrade_1-0.sql and upgrade_1-1.sql
- With an FTP client or your host's file managerl, upload the files OVER the existing files -- make sure Settings.php isn't overwritten.

This will cause all mods to be uninstalled.
