Auto-time-expire sticky threads ??

I'm looking for a mod that will auto-unsticky sticky threads
The idea being that when a thread is set as sticky, there is a field to enter the "end of sticky" date and time
This is mainly for use in news and announcement boards, where an event might have a specific period involving relevance or an offer or something, and rather than have to continually check the board for expired stickies, the system does it for you - either using fake cron jobs at page load, or genuine cron jobs.
This is a bit different to using a calendar event, because in several of our boards, the events come in by rss from other sites, and after tweaking the OP and making them sticky, I'd like to be able to set the "end of sticky" period so I can then forget about them.
