Was wondering if anyone has been able to get smf and tp on a mobile phone, such as a pda, iphone, blackberry, stuff like that. If no one has been able to this, I wouldn't mind working with someone to achieve this.

SMF forums have been achieved of adding this.

TP I would not see how this would work because its a ton of features and does not seem like there could be a "lite" version.

You could usually add a wap/wap2/imode at the end of /index.php to make it work.

so pretty much all I would do to see the site is go to http://www.freebies4anyone.com/index.php/imode on my device and it shall work do I have to put anything in as far as code, is their a way to figure out if they are on a mobile device and not on a computer, and apply the correct forum index?

SMF does do that.

If it detects your on mobile, it will try to show you the correct version.

WAP/WAP2/Imode.

So awesome, thanks very much for the information saw this request on a forum but it was a vbulletion forum and was like hey that would be very handy for  my members, so thanks agian. i will test this out on my phone once I pay the bill lol.

Is there a way we can modify the wap display mode so that maybe it'll show forums with new posts in bold or some sort of indication of new activity?

Try WAP2 - .../index.php?wap2 - you can login and post in that mode.
