i saw that before anyone asks, and its not what i want

i went through 5 of the 16 search pages of threads containing "anonymous", and on the 4th it went on its own course lol


i want a box which users can check in a certain board (which i give permission for them to check the box in) so that they may post anonymously. i want their IP hidden, and username changed to "Anonymous post" or the like.


OR

to hide the IP and HOST of ONE user, so i can set up such an account for users to post on

cause sometimes people wanna give feedback or ask for help anonymously and i wish to cater to that properly

if you had done a search, you would notice that I have such a mod and am looking for beta testers before I release it to the mod site.

but thats the problem!! i want it removed for one account so i cant even be tempted to look for the usernames that have logged in under such an IP!!

actually i wouldnt care if it didnt display on any account in the POSTS only

1- I will not make a mod that completely hides the identity. The are considerations... if someone posts something that has to be legally followed up on... or the Admin needs to track possible activities, then the IP still allows such...

2- learn to control yourself... resist the temptation.

The mod that I updated does everything you want, with the exception of removing the IP.
If you want to remove the IP on your own system, then go right ahead, but I won't add that into the mod.
